Justicialist Party of Formosa calls provincial congress to renew leadership

The Justicialist Party (PJ) of Formosa has called for a Provincial Congress to be held on Friday, August 14, at the Centenario Stadium. The event aims to renew the party's leadership and authorities in accordance with current political party laws.

According to party attorney Armando Felipe Cabrera, the congress will convene 861 provincial delegates and leaders. The proceedings will include the appointment of a Commission of Powers, the nomination of the board of directors, the establishment of a Discipline Commission and an Electoral Board, the approval of the memory and balance sheet, the appointment of an attorney, and the designation of national delegates.

The meeting was convened following a directive from party president Gildo Insfrán. Cabrera noted that the party is renewing its mandate for a four-year term and will request observers from the Federal Justice system to oversee the process.
