Justin Aguilera pleads guilty to gang assault in Malba street takeover

Justin Aguilera, 19, of Far Rockaway, has pleaded guilty to second-degree gang assault following an attack on a Malba couple during an illegal street takeover in November 2025.

According to the Queens District Attorney’s office, the incident occurred on 11th Avenue when a group of at least 10 individuals gathered near a residential property, causing a commotion with spinning tires and smoke. When homeowners Blake and Melissa Ferrer attempted to direct the group away from their yard, several individuals advanced onto their lawn.

During the confrontation, the male homeowner was punched and knocked to the ground, at which point Aguilera punched, kicked, and stomped on him. When the wife attempted to intervene, Aguilera punched her in the mouth. The incident also involved a private security guard whose vehicle was set on fire by the crowd.

Aguilera pleaded guilty before Acting Queens Supreme Court Justice Joanne Watters. He is scheduled to be sentenced on September 23, facing 4.5 years in prison.
