Justin Allgaier signs multiyear extension with JR Motorsports

NASCAR veteran Justin Allgaier has officially announced he will return to compete in the 2027 NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series. Despite previously considering retirement, the 2024 champion has signed a multiyear extension to continue driving the No. 7 JR Motorsports Chevrolet with partner BRANDT.

Allgaier is currently concluding a highly successful 2026 campaign, entering the season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway with a 22-point lead in the championship standings. His current season includes six victories and a career-high number of top-five and top-ten finishes. He has been a driver for JR Motorsports since 2016, consistently placing near the top of the championship standings.
