FIFA World Cup 2026 Final Halftime Show to Feature Justin Bieber, Madonna, Shakira and BTS
FIFA and Global Citizen announced that the 2026 World Cup final, scheduled for 19 July at New York‑New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium, will include the tournament’s first ever halftime show. The 11‑minute performance will be co‑headlined by pop stars Justin Bieber, Madonna, Shakira and South‑Korean group BTS. Additional acts include Nigerian singer Burna Boy, Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel, the PS 22 Chorus of elementary‑school students and the band Coldplay, with creative direction by Coldplay front‑man Chris Martin. The show will also feature characters from Sesame Street and the Muppets. Produced by Global Citizen in partnership with Live Nation and Done + Dusted, the event is tied to the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which aims to raise US$100 million to expand education and football opportunities for children worldwide; more than US$50 million has already been secured and US$1 from each World Cup ticket will be donated. FIFA President Gianni Infantino said education is “the most important thing the world needs,” and praised the line‑up for supporting that goal.
