Justin Cooper recalls mother's request to Don Rickles
Former child actor Justin Cooper recently shared an anecdote regarding his experience on the set of the 1998 film ‘Dennis the Menace Strikes Again!’. Speaking on the ‘Not So Little Rascals’ podcast, Cooper, now 37, recalled that his mother approached co-star Don Rickles with a specific request to avoid using foul language in front of him.
Rickles, who played Mr. Wilson in the film, was widely recognized for his reputation as a comedian known for insults and profanity. Cooper noted that his mother was highly proactive in shielding him from uncomfortable situations on set, contrasting her approach with other acting parents of that era.
Cooper, who also appeared in the 1997 film ‘Liar Liar’, left acting after high school and currently works in sports broadcasting production.
