Justin Gaethje rejects $1.5 million offer to let influencer Steiny be his cornerman

UFC lightweight champion Justin Gaethje has rejected a multi-million dollar offer from internet personality Steiny to serve as his cornerman. During an appearance on the podcast ‘One Night With Steiny’, the influencer attempted to secure a deal by raising an initial offer to $1.1 million, and eventually $1.5 million.

Gaethje declined the offers, stating that he refuses to bring anyone outside of his established, specialized coaching team into his corner. He emphasized his professional commitment, noting that even an offer of $100 million would not change his decision because he ‘takes my job seriously’ and relies on long-term coaches like Trevor Wittman and Luke Caudillo.

The offer follows a recent trend of UFC fighters aligning with influencers, such as Arman Tsarukyan working with streamer N3ON at UFC 331. Separately, Gaethje discussed his future in the octagon, mentioning a potential interest in fighting Conor McGregor.
