Justin Gaethje to Corner Archie Colgan as Khabib Nurmagomedov Corners Usman Nurmagomedov at PFL New York

The Professional Fighters League (PFL) will host an event on July 31 at the UBS Arena in Long Island, New York. The main bout is a lightweight championship fight between undefeated Usman Nurmagomedov, the current PFL champion and cousin of former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, and unbeaten contender Archie Colgan.

UFC lightweight champion Justin Gaethje will serve in the corner of Archie Colgan, while Khabib Nurmagomedov, who retired after defeating Gaethje in 2020, will be in the corner of Usman Nurmagomedov. Usman arrives with a 21‑0 record, having won the inaugural PFL lightweight title and defended it once, whereas Colgan holds a 13‑0 record with recent unanimous‑decision wins.
