Justin Holbrook nominated for NRL Coach of the Year

Newcastle Knights coach Justin Holbrook is being cited as a leading candidate for the NRL Coach of the Year following the team’s successful ascent from the bottom of the ladder to the finals.

Despite facing season-ending injuries to players Dylan Brown and Dylan Lucas, the Knights have maintained their momentum. Holbrook has been credited with improving the performance and confidence of several players, including Fletcher Sharpe, Dom Young, and Greg Marzhew.

Holbrook, a former Knights player with previous success at St Helens and the Gold Coast, is currently competing for the award against Andrew Webster of the Warriors and Kristian Woolf of the Dolphins.
