Justin Jefferson updates injury status and discusses Odell Beckham Jr. signing

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson has provided an update on his ankle injury, stating he is in a ‘real good’ place and hopes to play against the New Orleans Saints in Week 5. Jefferson, who missed the Week 4 matchup against the Miami Dolphins due to a sprain sustained in Week 3, returned to practice on a limited basis.

In addition to his injury recovery, Jefferson commented on the Vikings' recent signing of Odell Beckham Jr. to the practice squad. Jefferson noted that the two have been ‘brothers for a very, very long time’ and have long discussed the possibility of playing together. Beckham, a former LSU standout like Jefferson, joins a Vikings offense that has struggled with production despite a 4-0 start to the season.
