Justin Robidas draws interest from Swiss club EV Zug

Justin Robidas, a restricted free agent forward for the Carolina Hurricanes, is reportedly drawing interest from the Swiss club EV Zug.

The 23-year-old, a fifth-round pick in 2021, has seen steady professional development. After starting in the ECHL with the Norfolk Admirals, he moved to the AHL's Chicago Wolves, where he recorded 20 goals and 35 assists in his rookie season, followed by 23 goals and 37 assists in his subsequent campaign. Robidas also saw limited action with the Hurricanes, recording two goals and one assist in four games.

As Robidas is waiver-eligible, he may consider an overseas move to Switzerland as a potential stepping stone toward a more permanent NHL role, or he may sign a two-way contract with Carolina.
