Justin Sanders wins Dennis Roth Classic at Stockton Dirt Track
The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series recently held a competitive weekend at the Stockton Dirt Track during the Dennis Roth Classic.
On Friday, James McFadden secured a victory driving the number 21 Tarlton Motorsports car. After starting from the third row, McFadden moved through the field and overtook Michael ‘Buddy’ Kofoid with five laps remaining to claim the win.
On Saturday, local driver Justin Sanders achieved his first World of Outlaws victory. The 34-year-old from Aromas, California, earned an $83,000 payday after a dramatic finish. Sanders initially led the 40-lap race but lost the position to Emerson Axsom. However, as Axsom encountered heavy traffic in the final laps, Sanders utilized a slide job in the closing corners to retake the lead and secure the checkered flag.
