Justin Warren wins WA PGA Championship in Kalgoorlie

Justin Warren secured a clinical two-stroke victory at the CKB WA PGA Championship in Kalgoorlie, marking his maiden tour win on the PGA Tour of Australasia. Warren finished with an 11-under total after a final-round 5-under 67, overcoming a competitive field to finish two strokes ahead of Daniel Gale.

The victory represents a significant personal comeback for the 31-year-old professional from Picton, New South Wales. Warren had previously struggled with a long recovery period following foot surgery, which required him to wear a moon boot for eight months and caused his world ranking to drop to 1625th.

After years of near misses and losing his domestic status, Warren secured an invitation to the tournament in Kalgoorlie. He expressed deep emotion following the win, noting the difficulty of the journey and the relief of finally achieving a victory after being close to the winner's circle on numerous occasions.
