Justus Reid purchases abandoned Croatian vineyard and cabin

American influencer Justus Reid has purchased an abandoned cabin and vineyard in the Zagorje region of Croatia for 3,000 euros. The property, which includes approximately half a hectare of vineyard and a lookout tower, has reportedly been neglected for nearly a decade.

Reid, who documents his real estate renovation projects in Croatia on social media, described the new acquisition as his “biggest project yet.” Alongside a friend and his sons, Reid began clearing the overgrown land and harvesting the remaining ripe grapes from the neglected vines.

This new venture comes while Reid awaits a legal resolution regarding a previous 5,000-euro property purchase in the same area. He has faced challenges regarding the legal status of that older building, which authorities have flagged as an improperly registered structure, leading to requests for its removal. Reid has submitted documentation to resolve the legal status of that property and is currently awaiting a decision.
