Justus Strelow wins City Biathlon in Dresden

Justus Strelow secured victory at the City Biathlon in Dresden, marking the first win for a German athlete at this event since 2014. The 29-year-old competitor demonstrated strong shooting performance, incurring only two penalty laps across five shooting bouts.

In the final stage, Strelow outperformed French athlete Eric Perrot by hitting all targets while Perrot was forced into a penalty lap. Other notable competitors included Italy's Lukas Hofer and Germany's Philipp Horn, who finished in fourth place, just 0.4 seconds behind Hofer.

The event, held in the streets of Dresden using roller skis, featured a new rule where shooting errors resulted in a 50-meter penalty lap.
