Justyna Steczkowska reflects on mother’s death and celebrates 54th birthday on TV

Polish singer Justyna Steczkowska spoke about the recent passing of her mother, Danuta Steczkowska, who died in November 2020 at age 77 after a long battle with health problems. Justyna recalled that as a child she survived a clinical death following a bicycle accident, saying she no longer fears death. She described her mother as a devoted educator and mother of nine, noting the deep personal impact of her loss.

On the same day, Steczkowska appeared on the morning show “Dzień Dobry TVN” to mark her 54th birthday. During the visit she was photographed holding a dog and making a gesture that some viewers found controversial. In an Instagram post she reflected on the imperfections of life and thanked fans, also announcing a one‑day ticket promotion for upcoming concerts such as “Roma Symphonica” and “Maria Magdalena”.
