Juventus eyes Pellegrino, Bergvall, Konaté as preseason lineup set

Juventus is in advanced talks to acquire Argentine striker Mateo Pellegrino from Parma for a total value of up to €28 million, with a proposed five‑year contract paying about €2 million net per season. The club is also monitoring Tottenham midfielder Lucas Bergvall, a 2006‑born Swedish talent also linked to Real Madrid. In addition, Juventus have completed the purchase of 20‑year‑old Ismael Konaté from Empoli for roughly €350 000 plus bonuses, planning to start him in the Juventus Next Gen side in Serie C with the aim of developing him for the first team. Ahead of the new season, Juventus will play a friendly against Basel on 18 July 2026, with coach Luciano Spalletti expected to field an experimental eleven: Di Gregorio, Perin; Kalulu, Gatti, Kelly, Cambiaso; Locatelli, Douglas Luiz; Zhegrova, Miretti/Adzic, Boga; Openda/Ekhator.
