Juventude appoints Fernando Miguel as youth academy technical coordinator

Juventude has announced the appointment of former goalkeeper Fernando Miguel as the new technical coordinator for its youth categories. The 40-year-old, who recently retired from professional play, returns to the club where he played during the 2012 and 2013 seasons.

Miguel's new role is part of a departmental restructuring aimed at strengthening athlete formation and creating a more effective pathway from the youth ranks to the professional squad. His responsibilities will include monitoring development processes, ensuring integration between different age categories, and aligning technical work across the department.

Throughout his two-decade career, Miguel played for several prominent Brazilian clubs, including Vitória, Vasco, Fortaleza, Ceará, and Atlético-GO. He expressed pride in returning to Juventude to apply his professional experience and certifications to the development of the club's young players.
