Juventus signs Pape Matar Sarr and Nick Woltemade on loan

Juventus has completed two significant loan signings on the final day of the summer transfer window. The Italian club secured Senegalese midfielder Pape Matar Sarr from Tottenham Hotspur and German forward Nick Woltemade from Newcastle United.

Sarr joins on a loan deal through June 2027, with a purchase option estimated at approximately €27.5 million to €28 million. The agreement includes conditions that could make the transfer mandatory. Sarr, who has made over 140 appearances for Tottenham, aims to provide dynamism and physicality to the Juventus midfield under manager Luciano Spalletti.

Woltemade arrives on loan from Newcastle United until June 2027. The deal involves an initial fee of roughly €2.8 million to €4.1 million. Unlike the Sarr deal, reports indicate there is no immediate purchase option for the 24-year-old striker. These moves are part of a broader squad overhaul at Juventus, which has seen numerous arrivals and departures to strengthen the roster for the upcoming season.
