Juventus faces injury crisis ahead of Serie A match against Lecce
Juventus enters their Serie A fixture against Lecce at the Stadio Via del Mare facing a significant injury crisis. Manager Luciano Spalletti is dealing with a depleted squad, with approximately nine players unavailable, including key figures such as Kenan Yildiz, Manuel Locatelli, Khephren Thuram, Zeki Celik, and Nico Gonzalez.
The club is currently struggling to find form, having not secured a league victory since September 20. This slump follows a 3-0 loss to Lazio and a recent 2-2 draw against Rennes in the UEFA Europa League. Despite the personnel shortages, Juventus sits in 9th place in the Serie A standings with 11 points.
Lecce approaches the match with momentum following a 3-0 victory over Udinese, placing them in 12th position. The match is scheduled for October 25, 2026, with Juventus expected to utilize a 3-4-1-2 formation featuring players like Bremer, Gatti, and Kolo Muani to navigate the challenging away fixture.
