Juventus evaluates Jeff Ekhator's future amid injury recovery

Juventus is monitoring the progress of young striker Jeff Ekhator as he nears a return to action following a series of muscle injuries. The 2006-born attacker, who joined from Genoa in the summer, has missed ten official matches due to a thigh strain sustained in late August.

Coach Luciano Spalletti intends to integrate Ekhator into the offensive rotation following the mid-November international break. The club's current plan is to utilize him as a third-choice center-forward, particularly during a busy December schedule, to assess his reliability and tactical utility.

Ekhator's performances will significantly influence Juventus's January transfer strategy. While the club has already promised Spalletti the signing of an experienced center-forward, a successful integration of Ekhator could alter the urgency of winter market priorities. If he fails to secure a consistent role, the club may consider a loan move, with Genoa and Parma mentioned as potential destinations.
