Juventus faces Cagliari in Serie A clash following international break

Juventus and Cagliari are set to face each other in a Serie A match at the Unipol Domus following the international break. Cagliari enters the fixture in strong form, currently sitting fourth in the league standings with 12 points from five matches, having secured three consecutive victories.

Juventus, currently in seventh place with 10 points, aims to build momentum after a period of inconsistent results. Manager Luciano Spalletti emphasized the need for intensity and focus, noting that Cagliari often invites opponents into their half to exploit quick transitions. Spalletti also addressed player management during the long break, highlighting the importance of physical recovery and mental readiness.

Key player updates include Nico Gonzalez, who has recently seen a resurgence in form under Spalletti, and Randal Kolo Muani, whom the manager is encouraging to adopt a more mobile role beyond being a traditional striker. The match is expected to be a significant test for both sides as they compete for positions in the upper half of the table.
