Juventus manages goalkeeper shortages and transfer targets

Juventus is navigating several roster challenges and transfer market developments. In the goalkeeper department, Norberto Neto will miss the upcoming match against Cagliari due to a one-match suspension stemming from a disciplinary incident during his time with Botafogo in Brazil.

To address long-term needs in goal, the club is targeting Coritiba's 22-year-old Brazilian prospect Pedro Morisco. Morisco, noted for his physical presence and ability to play with his feet, is viewed as a potential low-cost option estimated between 5 and 8 million euros. Other options under consideration include Lorenzo Palmisani from Frosinone.

Regarding the attack, striker Randal Kolo Muani recently noted that the introduction of Nick Woltemade provides him with more tactical freedom on the pitch. However, Woltemade's future remains uncertain; despite a slow start with only one goal in four appearances, a loan agreement with Newcastle United prevents Juventus from terminating his stay during the January transfer window.
