Juventus launches €50 million hunt for new striker

Juventus is reported to be prepared to spend up to €50 million to sign a new forward for the 2024‑25 season. The club has reopened negotiations with free‑agent German international Leon Goretska, who is demanding a €7 million annual salary and a €10 million signing‑bonus. Goretska, 31, attracted interest from MLS side Chicago Fire as well as European clubs such as Sunderland and Borussia Dortmund.

Other potential targets mentioned include the U.S.–Monaco striker Folarin Balgun, who scored three goals at the 2026 World Cup. Juventus’ aggressive transfer strategy follows the recent departure of star forward Dušan Vlahović and reflects a broader push to strengthen the attack ahead of the new campaign.
