Juventus loans João Mário to Fiorentina as transfer market heats up

Juventus is active in the summer transfer window, pursuing several targets such as goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez, striker Randal Kolo Muani, defender John Stones and midfielder João Mário. The club confirmed that João Mário will move to ACF Fiorentina on a loan deal worth €1 million with an option to buy for around €8 million.

Fiorentina have formally submitted an offer for the midfielder and are also close to signing Victor Valdepenas. Juventus manager Luciano Spalletti continues to seek reinforcements on the defensive line and in attack, while other Serie A clubs – Inter, Napoli, Roma and Torino – are also engaged in their own market activities.

Italian sports dailies report that the Juventus‑Fiorentina agreement is in its final stages, with the loan expected to be completed before the start of the new season.
