Juventus nears deal for free agent Franck Kessie

Franck Kessie is reportedly close to returning to Serie A with Juventus. The Ivorian midfielder has reached an oral agreement with the Turin-based club for a three-year contract, which would include an annual salary of €4.5 million and a signing bonus.

Kessie, currently a free agent, has reportedly turned down attempts by Al-Ahli to keep him in Saudi Arabia to pursue the project presented by Luciano Spalletti. The transfer may be finalized even after the summer transfer window closes due to his free-agent status, though registration for Europa League competition is subject to specific deadlines.

Juventus is currently managing squad numbers in the midfield to facilitate the move. Kessie is expected to bring significant experience, physical strength, and leadership to the squad, following a period in Saudi Arabia where he maintained strong statistical performances.
