Juventus Nears Deal for Striker Alexander Sorloth from Atlético Madrid

Juventus have reached personal terms with Norwegian forward Alexander Sorloth, who is on loan at Atlético Madrid. The agreement includes a four‑year contract paying roughly €4 million per season. The clubs are still negotiating the transfer fee, with Atlético reportedly asking about €30 million, while Juventus have set a lower ceiling.

Sorloth, 30, finished the season with around 20 goals across all competitions – 13 in La Liga and six in the Champions League – and is being positioned as a primary replacement for Dusan Vlahovic, whose contract extension has stalled. The transfer could be delayed until after the World Cup, as Atlético may wait to see if Sorloth’s tournament performance raises his market value.

Juventus are also monitoring other targets, including Randal Kolo Muani and interest from Premier League clubs, and discussions about a possible loan‑swap involving Nico Gonzalez, though that latter deal would not involve Sorloth.
