Juventus Openda Transfer Talks Involve Lens and Lyon

Juventus is exploring options to move Belgian striker Loïs Openda, whose contract runs until 2030. The club is open to a loan deal with an option to purchase and may even contribute to part of his salary. French Ligue 1 sides RC Lens and Olympique Lyon are both interested. Lens, where Openda previously excelled, faces financial concerns: a fan poll showed 58 % consider the deal too costly, while only 17 % are optimistic about a return. Lyon, meanwhile, sees an opportunity to replace Endrick and believes it can absorb Openda’s wages more easily than Lens. The striker’s recent form at Juventus has been poor, with just two goals in 34 appearances, prompting the Italian club to look for ways to offload him and free up space for new attacking signings.
