Juventus optimistic as Kenan Yildiz nears return for Asian tour

Turkish forward Kenan Yildiz has made significant progress in recovering from a patellar tendinopathy that sidelined him for several weeks. Medical staff report that the rehabilitation program is on track, allowing him to train partially with the Juventus first team and to be evaluated for a gradual increase in training load next week. Coach Luciano Spalletti expressed strong optimism that Yildiz will be available for the upcoming pre‑season friendlies against clubs such as Chelsea, Inter Milan and Palermo, and potentially take part in the squad’s Asian tour.

The club also noted that fellow midfielder Khéphren Thuram is following a separate, cautiously paced recovery plan for his own knee issue. Both players are expected to join the team’s departure for Hong Kong later this week, with the medical team monitoring their condition closely to avoid any relapse before the new season begins.
