Juventus held to 2-2 draw by Rennes in Europa League

Juventus played to a 2-2 draw against Stade Rennais at the Allianz Stadium in a UEFA Europa League league-phase match. Zeki Çelik opened the scoring for Juventus in the fifth minute following an assist from Nick Woltemade. However, Rennes responded through Musa Al-Taamari in the 15th minute and Boulaye Dia, who converted a penalty in the 43rd minute after a handball by Douglas Luiz.

In the second half, Nick Woltemade equalized for the hosts with a penalty in the 67th minute. Juventus appeared to have secured a late victory when Jhon Lucumí scored in the 88th minute, but the goal was overturned by VAR due to an offside decision. The result leaves Juventus with seven points from three matches, while Rennes sits on five points.

During the match, Juventus defender Zeki Çelik was forced off due to a thigh injury and was replaced by Pierre Kalulu. The club is expected to monitor his condition following medical examinations.
