Juventus pursues defender Tarik Muharemovic as wage demands rise

Juventus is accelerating negotiations to bring Bosnian centre‑back Tarik Muharemovic back from Sassuolo. CEO Giovanni Carnevali is in talks with the Emilia‑Romagna club, where the 2003‑born defender is valued at about €38‑40 million. Muharemovic is reportedly seeking a top‑club salary of €3‑4 million net per season, while Juventus has floated an €18 million offer to close the deal. The club aims to secure the player before English Premier League suitors intensify their interest. Juventus’ alternative defensive targets include Jhon Lucumí from Bologna and Leonardo Balerdi of Olympique Marseille.
