Juventus renews contract for defender Alfonso Montero

Juventus has officially renewed the contract of young defender Alfonso Montero until June 30, 2028. The 2007-born player is set to join the club's Next Gen squad permanently starting next season, marking his debut in professional football in Serie C under coach Massimo Brambilla.

Montero, the son of former Juventus defender Paolo Montero, has demonstrated consistent growth within the Primavera formation, accumulating over forty appearances in Primavera 1, the Coppa Italia, and the UEFA Youth League. In addition to his defensive capabilities, he has recorded four goals, showcasing strength during set pieces.
