Juventus' Sørloth target depends on Nico Gonzalez deal with Atletico
Juventas and Atletico Madrid have opened talks that could link a €35 million move for Norwegian striker Alexander Sørloth with the future of Argentine winger Nico Gonzalez. Juventus wants to lower the fee for Sørloth and sees Gonzalez – currently on loan at Atletico – as the bargaining chip that could fund the purchase and free up cash, possibly by selling defender Andrea Cambiaso.
The clubs have not started formal negotiations; Juventus has made clear it will only proceed with Sørloth if Atletico accepts the valuation and conditions Juventus proposes for Gonzalez. The outcome also influences Juventus’ other transfer plans, such as the pursuit of Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint‑Germain.
