Juventus striker Arkadiusz Milik's role under review
Polish forward Arkadiusz Milik has emerged from a two‑year injury spell and impressed in Juventus' pre‑season training, prompting manager Luciano Spalletti to consider him as a valuable impact substitute. Italian media note that Milik could serve as a "joker" off the bench, offering fresh energy in the final phases of matches.
However, his first start in a friendly against Chelsea drew harsh criticism. The Italian press rated his performance the lowest among the starting XI, citing poor ball control, limited involvement and a lack of rhythm. Despite a contract running to June 2027, the striker must prove his fitness and form to secure regular playing time at the Turin club.
