Juventas target Kim Min‑jae as Bayern asks €40 million
Juventus are actively pursuing South Korean centre‑back Kim Min‑jae, a former Napoli defender who won the Serie A title in 2022‑23. Manager Luciano Spalletti, who previously worked with Kim, has indicated that the player has expressed willingness to return to Italy. However, Bayern Munich, Kim’s current club, has set a €40 million transfer fee, roughly double the €20 million book value, which Juventus consider excessive. The deal could become viable if fellow defender Gleison Bremer departs and Bayern eases its price demands. Juventus are also scouting other options for their defence and attack, including Kolo Muani and Alexander Sørloth, as they rebuild after the exit of Dusan Vlahović and other squad changes.
The transfer saga remains unresolved, with Juventus weighing financial constraints against the desire to strengthen the back line under Spalletti’s tactics.
