Juventus target Theo Hernández in summer transfer bid
Juventles' sporting director Frederic Massara is monitoring Theo Hernández, the French left‑back currently at Al Hilal, as a potential signing for the 2024‑25 season. Massara’s previous role in bringing Hernández to Milan in 2019 is cited as a factor that could ease negotiations. The main obstacle is Hernández’s reported €20 million per‑season salary in Saudi Arabia, which exceeds Juventus’ wage structure. A move could become viable if the club sells defender Andrea Cambiaso to free the necessary funds and if Hernández agrees to a substantial pay cut, reportedly motivated by a desire to return to Italy for family reasons. Juventus will decide based on the club’s tactical plans under coach Luciano Spalletti and the market conditions that develop over the summer.
