Juventus eyes Japanese goalkeeper Zion Suzuki as transfer target

Juventus are actively searching for a new first‑choice goalkeeper ahead of the 2025‑26 season. Their main target is 23‑year‑old Japanese international Zion Suzuki, who currently plays for Parma. Manager Luciano Spalletti has highlighted Suzuki’s ability to play out from the back and his powerful long‑kick, describing him as a key element for the club’s tactical setup.

The Italian club is in advanced talks with Parma, which is demanding a fee of more than €30 million (around ¥55 billion). Juventus hope to secure the player as a long‑term investment, noting that his age and potential fit their rebuilding plans. At the same time, Paris Saint‑Germain have also shown interest and are reportedly preparing an offer, which could complicate negotiations.

Juventus are also monitoring other goalkeepers, including French‑born Lucas Chevalier of PSG, Tottenham‑linked Guglielmo Vicario, and other high‑profile keepers, but Suzuki remains the preferred option according to the club’s latest statements.
