Juventus targets Ligue 1 defenders for winter transfer window

Juventus is reportedly targeting several players from the French Ligue 1 to strengthen their left-back position during the upcoming winter transfer window.

According to reports from Corriere dello Sport, the Italian club is maintaining interest in Olympique de Marseille's Emerson. Additionally, Juventus is monitoring two players from Olympique Lyonnais: Brazilian defender Abner and Nicolás Tagliafico. Abner has recently established himself as a starter under coach Paulo Fonseca, while Tagliafico's contract is set to expire in June.

Lyon faces the challenge of retaining its defensive talent amidst this interest, particularly as the club prepares for upcoming Europa League fixtures.
