Juventus targets loan for Openda with 2027 buyout and pushes Nico Gonzalez move to Atletico Madrid

Juventas director Giovanni Carnevoli is reviewing the dossier of Belgian striker Loïs Openda, who was bought back for around €40 million. The club intends to loan him for the next season with a mandatory purchase option for 2027, seeking a solid financial partner that can guarantee a definitive sale and avoid repeated short‑term loans.

At the same time, Juventus is renewing talks with Spanish side Atlético Madrid over Argentine forward Nico Gonzalez. The Italian club aims to secure a fee of roughly €25 million after the player’s previous loan‑with‑obligation clause did not trigger. Both moves are part of Juventus’ broader effort to restructure the squad and improve its financial position.
