Juventus targets Zion Suzuki in potential PSG loan deal
Juventus is actively seeking a new goalkeeper following underwhelming performances by Michele Di Gregorio, most notably during a recent friendly against Inter Milan. While manager Luciano Spalletti has defended Di Gregorio, the club's management is prioritizing a replacement to ensure stability for the upcoming season.
Japanese international Zion Suzuki has emerged as a primary target. A strategic deal is reportedly being negotiated involving Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Parma. Under this proposed arrangement, PSG would acquire Suzuki from Parma for approximately 35 million euros and subsequently loan him to Juventus for one season. This move would allow Juventus to secure a high-potential talent without an immediate massive transfer fee, while providing Suzuki with consistent playing time.
Other potential candidates on the Juventus shortlist include Guglielmo Vicario of Tottenham and Anatoliy Trubin of Benfica. While Trubin is considered a strong option, his high valuation makes him a more complex target. The club is also monitoring the situation regarding Jonathan David, whose potential departure could provide the necessary funds to bolster other areas of the squad.
