Juventus targets Parma striker Mateo Pellegrino as transfer alternative
Juventu s is in advanced talks with Parma for Argentine striker Mateo Pellegrino, whose recent friendly goal highlighted his readiness. The club sees him as a backup plan if its pursuit of Paris Saint‑Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani stalls.
Parma has set a €30 million valuation and demands guarantees that any deal become permanent, including a clause on the fee owed to his former club Velez Sarsfield. Juventus has proposed a loan with an option‑to‑buy that would trigger an obligation under certain conditions. The English side Crystal Palace has also shown interest, but Pellegrino appears committed to a move to Turin.
The transfer is part of Juventus’ broader rebuilding of its attack after the departure of Dusan Vlahovic and the market availability of players such as Lois Openda and Jonathan David.
