Juventus to decide Nico Gonzalez's future after World Cup

Nico Gonzalez Juventus transfer decision Spalletti World Cup

Argentine winger Nico González is set to re‑join Juventus following a season‑long loan at Atlético Madrid, where the Spanish club chose not to activate a mandatory buy‑out clause. His contract with Juventus runs until 2029, leaving his long‑term status open.

Coach Luciano Spalletti will evaluate González during Juventus' preseason camp at Continassa after the player returns from the World Cup with Argentina. The assessment will determine whether he remains in the Turin squad or is moved on in the upcoming transfer window.
