Juventus U16 clinches Italian championship while Empoli defeats Genoa in Under‑17 semifinal

Empoli's under‑17 side beat Genoa 5‑2 in the semifinal of the Serie A‑B youth championship on 23 June, securing a place in the final that will be played in Cesena. The match was played in hot conditions (33 °C, high humidity) and featured a strong attacking display from Empoli, whose forwards Perillo, Landi and others contributed to the win.

In the under‑16 final held on 25 June at the Tullio Morgagni stadium in Forlì, Juventus defeated Inter 3‑0 to claim a second consecutive Italian title. Goals were scored by Salvai (29' penalty), Pipitò (35') and Vidzivashets (80+4'), cementing the dominance of Juventus’s youth squad throughout the season.

Both events were part of the SGS TIM National Youth Championships and were broadcast live on Sky Sport channels.
