Juventus winger Edon Zhegrova faces exit after UEFA squad exclusion

Edon Zhegrova is expected to leave Juventus following his exclusion from the club’s UEFA squad list for the Europa League. The decision, attributed to manager Luciano Spalletti’s tactical preferences and an abundance of options in the attacking department, signals that the Kosovar winger is no longer central to the team’s plans.

Juventus is reportedly open to negotiating a sale to reduce the wage bill and streamline the squad. While interest has been noted from markets in Turkey and Portugal, Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia remains a primary suitor. A potential deal with the Saudi club could involve a loan with an option to buy. The club has reportedly set a valuation of approximately €15 million to avoid capital losses.

Other squad movements include Daniele Rugani, who is also considered a candidate for departure, though he prefers domestic options. In contrast, defender Federico Gatti is not considered surplus to requirements unless a high-profile offer is received, and Juan Cabal is expected to remain in Turin to provide depth following the closure of the club's primary incoming transfer window.
