JW Marriott San Salvador unveils model rooms amid construction progress

Construction of the JW Marriott San Salvador has reached a new milestone with the unveiling of its first model rooms. The five-star property is being developed as part of an ambitious mixed-use project surrounding the Multiplaza area, which will also include office buildings, residential towers, a theater, a chapel, and expanded retail space.

The project is a collaboration between Grupo Poma and Grupo Roble. Fernando Poma, President of Real Hotels & Resorts and Chairman of Grupo Poma, noted that the investment responds to a significant rise in El Salvador’s tourism, which has grown from one million to over four million visitors.

The JW Marriott San Salvador will be the 25th property in the Real Hotels & Resorts portfolio and marks the company’s third JW Marriott location, following existing properties in Costa Rica and Colombia. The development aims to introduce internationally recognized luxury hospitality standards to the capital’s evolving urban landscape.
