Jyotiraditya Scindia inspects Gwalior road and water projects

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has inspected the progress of the Gwalior elevated road project, an infrastructure initiative valued at approximately Rs 800 crore. The project includes a 7.5-kilometre elevated corridor in its second phase, which features a four-lane flyover over the Swarna Rekha river. Once completed, the total length of the elevated road system in Gwalior is expected to reach 23 kilometres.

Additionally, Scindia highlighted the importance of the Chambal water project in Morena. Described as a vital initiative for the Gwalior-Chambal division, the project aims to secure long-term drinking water supplies for growing urban populations in cities such as Gwalior and Morena. Scindia noted that the project fulfills a long-standing vision for the region and is receiving significant support from Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.
