Jyotirmayee Nayak, a 24‑year‑old singer from Odisha, was declared the winner of Indian Idol Season 16 on 26 July 2026. The grand‑final, broadcast on Sony Entertainment Television and streamed on SonyLIV, saw her defeat five other finalists and lift the trophy after a performance of “Saiyaan O Saiyaan”.
