Jysk reports record 6 billion SEK sales in Sweden

Furniture retailer Jysk has reported record sales in Sweden, reaching 6 billion Swedish kronor in turnover. This represents a 9 percent increase from the previous year's 5.5 billion Swedish kronor.

To mark its 35th anniversary in the Swedish market, the company is distributing a record-breaking bonus to its approximately 1,700 store employees across 158 locations. The total bonus pool has increased to 56 million Swedish kronor, up from 38 million Swedish kronor last year. Johan Sjödin, CEO of Jysk Sweden, attributed the success to the engagement of employees who welcomed nearly 750,000 new visitors to their stores and e-commerce platforms.

On a global scale, the Jysk group reported a 13 percent increase in total turnover, reaching 52.3 billion Danish kronor.
