JYSK to invest €60 million in opening 120 new stores across Spain and Portugal

Denmark's home‑furnishings retailer JYSK opened a new store in El Ejido, Andalusia, offering discounts of up to 75% on more than 2,000 items as part of the launch. The outlet brings the chain's total Spanish presence to 189 stores.

JYSK announced a €60 million expansion plan to open 120 additional stores in Spain and Portugal over the next four years, aiming for roughly 30 openings each year. The plan targets 80‑100 new locations in Spain and a 50% increase in Portugal, creating about 1,200 direct jobs. Each store will feature 2,000+ products on an average floor space of 1,300 m², with options for online ordering, home delivery, or in‑store pickup.
