K Annamalai to launch women's safety campaign in Tamil Nadu

Politician and former IPS officer K Annamalai has announced a month-long awareness campaign focused on women's safety across Tamil Nadu, scheduled to begin in September. The initiative will be conducted under the banner of his organization, ‘We The Leaders’.

The campaign aims to raise awareness regarding the challenges women face and the importance of creating safer environments. Volunteers from the organization are expected to carry out community-level activities and awareness programs throughout various parts of the state.

This initiative follows previous social awareness efforts by ‘We The Leaders’, including a July campaign against drug abuse and an August environmental drive that focused on cleaning water bodies and large-scale tree planting. These activities are viewed as efforts by Annamalai to strengthen his grassroots presence following his departure from the BJP and ahead of potential plans to form a new political party.
