K League Futures Football Festival concludes in Busan

The Korea Professional Football League successfully concluded the ‘2026 K League Futures Football Festival’ in Busan. Held at the Busan Gangseo Sports Park, the event was designed to expand the youth soccer base and provide children with opportunities to experience the joy of the sport.

Approximately 420 participants, including kindergarten and elementary school students from the academies of five K League clubs—Busan, Ulsan, Jeonnam, Gyeongnam, and Gimhae—attended the festival. The program featured soccer clinics, friendly matches, and various themed experience zones such as dribbling and shooting challenges.

Former K League players, including Ji Dong-won, Park Jong-woo, and Ahn Byeong-jun, served as one-day coaches, teaching fundamental skills like passing and dribbling to the young athletes. Current Busan IPark players also participated in the coaching sessions. Following the success in Busan, the league plans to host the next festival in Daejeon next month.
